Read the ultimate article on credit card rewards for beginners. It talks about how you can easily save $10,000 or more on travel over the next few years. You might even save $30,000 or more like I did! Click here to find out exactly what you should do to get started!

Until a few years ago, I was very skeptical of using reward credit cards. I always thought that the possibility of going into debt isn’t really worth the 1% cash back reward that I would get.

But then I started travel hacking.

And travel hacking is kind of awesome!

As a matter of fact, my wife and I have used travel hacking with credit cards to save over $30,000 during the past 4 years in travel rewards, gift cards, and cash back!

This is kind of like saving $45,000, because credit card rewards do not have any taxes on them. Like I said, travel hacking is kind of awesome!

Over the past few years we have travel hacked our way to some pretty fabulous trips:

  • New York City: Read about how we went on a $4,000 anniversary trip and only spent $22.
  • Washington DC
  • Disney World: Read more about how we did Disney for less.
  • A 23 day trip to the western United States

All of these trips have been made easier and cheaper through travel hacking. We are even going on a 2-week trip to Hawaii this summer where we will save $7,264!

So I think that you should consider using travel hacking to save money on your travel. To that extent, I have partnered with a company called CardRatings to help bring you the best and most up to date credit card offers.

Chase Sapphire Preferred
Here’s one of my favorite credit cards for free travel.

I have even written a short article called “Why I Recommend Reward Credit Cards to My Family“. This talks about rewards that I have received, the effect that travel hacking had on my credit score (none!), and other recommendations for using credit cards.

You may also want to check out one of my favorite cards (and my first card when I started travel hacking), the Chase Sapphire Preferred. With an introductory bonus that is worth $750 in travel after meeting the minimum spend through Chase Ultimate Rewards, this credit card is tough to beat!

Enjoy all of your free travel!
